Mind Suckers

Mind Suckers

The November 2014 issue of National Geographic magazine’s front cover is titled “Real Zombies.” The lead article is titled, “MIND SUCKERS” subtitled, “Meet Nature’s Nightmare.”

This wonderful article goes on to present several examples of how some parasites enter into the bodies of host insects and actually change their behavior in order to perpetuate their own existence. The change in behavior could range from being a zombie to committing suicide.

Here are two of many examples of Mind Sucking resulting in dramatic change of behavior of the host insect.

Example One: The article shows the photograph of an enslaved ladybug embracing and protecting the cocoon of the larva of a parasitic wasp, which is actually feeding on it from inside. The article starts with the statement, “It is as astonishing as it is sad to watch a ladybug turn into a zombie.”

Example Two: The larva of horsehair worm infects a cricket and grows inside its body. When it is ready to hatch, it alters cricket’s brain and forces it to commit suicide by jumping into water. Why? Well, as the cricket drowns in the water, the adult worm emerges. Water is horsehair worm’s natural abode.

Those of you who know human nature should notice similar alteration of behavior of “normal people” in response to Mind Sucking human parasites such as crooked politicians, corrupt bureaucrats, illusionist Babas, false Swamis, hypocritical Gurus, hateful Mullahs and devious Padres. The change in behavior of their followers could range from becoming zombies to becoming suicide bombers.

It is amazing how some people support and protect corrupt parasites like the ladybug does the parasitic larva of the wasp; and commit suicide in order to perpetuate political career of their parasitic leaders, like the cricket does to perpetuate the life cycle of the horsehair worm.

The truth: Some people live like insects and die like insects.
