Mind Suckers

Mind Suckers

The November 2014 issue of National Geographic magazine’s front cover is titled “Real Zombies.” The lead article is titled, “MIND SUCKERS” subtitled, “Meet Nature’s Nightmare.”

This wonderful article goes on to present several examples of how some parasites enter into the bodies of host insects and actually change their behavior in order to perpetuate their own existence. The change in behavior could range from being a zombie to committing suicide.

Here are two of many examples of Mind Sucking resulting in dramatic change of behavior of the host insect.

Example One: The article shows the photograph of an enslaved ladybug embracing and protecting the cocoon of the larva of a parasitic wasp, which is actually feeding on it from inside. The article starts with the statement, “It is as astonishing as it is sad to watch a ladybug turn into a zombie.”

Example Two: The larva of horsehair worm infects a cricket and grows inside its body. When it is ready to hatch, it alters cricket’s brain and forces it to commit suicide by jumping into water. Why? Well, as the cricket drowns in the water, the adult worm emerges. Water is horsehair worm’s natural abode.

Those of you who know human nature should notice similar alteration of behavior of “normal people” in response to Mind Sucking human parasites such as crooked politicians, corrupt bureaucrats, illusionist Babas, false Swamis, hypocritical Gurus, hateful Mullahs and devious Padres. The change in behavior of their followers could range from becoming zombies to becoming suicide bombers.

It is amazing how some people support and protect corrupt parasites like the ladybug does the parasitic larva of the wasp; and commit suicide in order to perpetuate political career of their parasitic leaders, like the cricket does to perpetuate the life cycle of the horsehair worm.

The truth: Some people live like insects and die like insects.

C&C Disease

Deadly Ebola is in the news. Here is another deadly disease, which is spreading very fast across the globe: C&C Disease.

Clueless: Governments all over the world have no clue about this disease. It is spreading very fast from China in the East to the United States in the West. It has already affected millions of people in India.

What is it? C&C Disease is a chronic disease with high morbidity (disabling effects) and mortality (deaths). It is highly contagious. No one is immune to it. No identifiable virus or bacteria have been identified as the cause.

Transmission: It is transmitted orally, visually and with a handshake. Symptoms might appear within minutes or gradually over 7 days.

Treatment: Victims are resistant to any treatment. In fact, there is no known treatment. Recognition of symptoms and preventing it from getting worse is the best approach.  .

A curious phenomenon: A curious phenomenon is that victims often deny they have this disease. When someone tries to help the victim of this disease, he/she rebuffs him/her with four words, “YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND!” These four words are diagnostic of this disease.

Symptoms: Any combination of symptoms listed below can appear in the victim.

Physical symptoms: Headache attacks, aches and pains all over the body, chest pain, stomach pain, sweating, sleeplessness, excessive sleeping, tiredness, heartburn, difficulty breathing, heavy sighing, palpitation of heart, trembling of hands, unsteady gait, loss of appetite, diarrhea bouts, frequent urination, hot and cold waves all over the body, bouts of dizziness, blurred vision.
Mental symptoms: Poor concentration, worrying, inability to follow conversation, mind racing, obsession, grandiose and paranoid ideas (suspiciousness).
Emotional: Depression, hopelessness, elation, anxiety, panic attacks, mood swings during which one is excessively elated or depressed, suicidal and homicidal ideas.
Behavioral symptoms: Irritability, hostility, pacing the floor, wringing of hands, excessive talking or not talking at all, talking the same subject over and over again, talking big, going on buying sprees, alcohol and drug abuse, buying big cars, big house, showing off one’s wealth, grand weddings for children, deceiving people and insurance companies, going into heavy debt, and finally filing for bankruptcy.

Medical wild goose chase: Often victims visit various specialists –neurologists, gastroenterologists, E.N.T. specialist, etc.- to discover the cause of the above dreadful symptoms. All tests usually come back negative except perhaps diabetes in some cases.

Misdiagnosis is common: Often these people are referred to psychiatrists for treatment. Ignorant of the C&C Disease, psychiatrists often misdiagnose victims of this disease as suffering from Manic-Depressive Illness a. k. a Bipolar Disorder. Sometimes Psychiatrists prescribe strong and dangerous drugs to control the symptoms. Addiction to sleeping pills, anti-anxiety and narcotic pain pills is common. This complicates the problem of abuse of alcohol and street drugs.

Prognosis: Hopeless.

What is C&C Disease? Well, you guessed it: Comparing and Competing Disease. A large number of Indians in America are victims of this disease.

Mr. Tharoor, a pig cannot complain that the cesspool smells really bad. What are you doing in Congress Party? Is your party not responsible for looting the country for most of the years after independence? Quit politics and start a nonviolent movement to fight corruption. You cannot eliminate cesspool unless you first get out of it. This is the time you get  out.

It is a fallacy that one could change India by joining politics. India is a kleptocracy, a country run by political and bureaucratic thieves. If one joins a gang of thieves, one becomes a thief. With great effort one could change the system, but one could not change its culture. Gorbachov changed Communist system in Russia, but he could not change the culture of corruption associated with that system.

The culture of corruption could be eliminated only by nonpolitical citizens united for that cause. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. Those who are willing to give up a little bit of liberty for a little bit of security deserve neither liberty nor security.

Good luck to you Mr. Tharoor! Hope you will come out of the cesspool and become a clean pig.

Is India a Kleptocracy?

Modi calls NCP “Naturally Corrupt Party”:

http://www.ndtv.com/elections/article/assembly-polls/ncp-is-naturally-corrupt-party-says-pm-sharad-pawar-hits-back-605700?pfrom=home-topstories

Mr. Modi is 100% correct. However, his own BJP is as corrupt as NCP, Congress (I), SP and every goddamn political party in India.

It is about time Mr. Modi asks himself whether INDIA IS A TRUE DEMOCRACY OR KLEPTOCRACY (Rule by Thieves).

What is Kleptocracy?[1]

Kleptocracy is a form of government, which exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of the ruling class (politicians and bureaucrats) at the expense of the wider population, often with pretense of honest service.

[Bofors scam, 2G scam, Coal-Gate scam, Fodder Scam, Agusta-Westland Chopper scam, Amma scam, Yeddiyurappa scam, Reddy brothers iron ore scam, Adarsh housing Society scam, Syndicate Bank bribery, etc. are but a few of hundreds of scams by means of which rulers have looted the country.]

Rule by Thieves: It is simply, Rule by Thieves, and theft of national wealth as the basis of a society. The term is a pejorative for governments perceived to have a particularly severe and systemic problem with the selfish misappropriation of public funds by those in power. This type of government is generally considered corrupt, and the mechanism of action is often embezzlement of state funds.

National wealth as personal bank account: Kleptocratic politicians typically treat their country's treasury as though it were their own personal bank account, spending the funds on luxury goods as they see fit. Many kleptocratic rulers also secretly transfer public funds into secret personal numbered bank accounts in foreign countries in order to provide themselves with continued luxury if/when they are eventually removed from power and forced to leave the country.
In Kleptocracy, bureaucrats in every single government office all over the country extort bribes from citizens to provide even simple services. They abuse their discretionary powers to enrich themselves.

In Kleptocracy, the Police all over the country routinely arrest people, and extort bribes for their release. They indulge in torture and murder without fear. 100% of people don’t trust them and are afraid of them. Instead of serving and protecting the public, the police misuse their authority to enrich themselves.

Effect of Kleptocracy: The effects of a kleptocratic regime or government on a nation are typically adverse in regards to the faring of the state's economy, political affairs and civil rights. Kleptocracy in government often vitiates prospects of foreign investment and drastically weakens the domestic market and cross-border trade. As the kleptocracy normally embezzles money from its citizens by misusing funds derived from tax payments or money laundering schemes, a kleptocratically structured political system tends to degrade nearly everyone's quality of life.

In addition, the money that kleptocrats steal is often taken from funds that were earmarked for public amenities, such as the building of hospitals, schools, roads, parks and the like – which has further adverse effects on the quality of life of the citizens living under a kleptocracy. The quasi-oligarchy that results from a kleptocratic elite also subverts democracy (or any other political format the state is ostensibly under).

Now you decide if India is a true democracy or kleptocracy.

What Would You Do?

There is a show on ABC Television in the U.S., ‘What Would You Do?’

In case you haven’t seen at least one episode, here is the link: http://abcnews.go.com/WhatWouldYouDo/

The Setup: In this reality show, the TV crew sets up a scenario in a public place, such as a restaurant or street, in which an actor pretends as though he/she is verbally abusing another actor. By means of hidden cameras, the crew records reaction of real customers or passers by.

Two distinct groups: In this show, we encounter two groups of people: The first group is made up of indifferent people who just walk away showing no reaction whatsoever. When asked, “Why did you not do anything?” they gave one lame excuse after another for their indifference or cowardice.

The second group is made up of people who, righteously indignant over the abuse going on right before their eyes, jump in to protect the victims and take the abusers to task. At this point the Anchorman reveals himself to these brave people and asks them, “Why did you do it?” If you listen to these people’s explanations, you would be moved to tears, unless of course you have no social conscience whatsoever.

It is these people who make America a great country. These are exceptional people whose actions are driven by righteous indignation against all injustice. They believed in what I call, ‘Natural Justice.’ Every one of them said that what they did was the right thing to do.

We have a choice: The point I make here is, we could choose to be exceptional people, or just be indifferent to whatever injustice is going on around us. It is said by the wise, “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

It has been my unfortunate experience that good men, who do nothing when bad men are committing bad deeds, usually end up being good for nothing.

Support good men: If you cannot do anything exceptional, at least, support those who are doing good deeds. Several people were reported to have said something like, “If there are ten people like him, India would be different.” Yet, none offered to pay even 25 rupees as annual subscription for my newspaper. Of 100,000 people in Udupi, who knew and admired the movement, 125 people showed their exceptional character by offering unsolicited help for a good cause.

See God in people: There are pious people in India who spend a lot of money on Poojas, Yajnas and hypocritical holy men, desiring this or that thing. What they do not seem to know is that the only reason to worship God is to be God-like: To acquire great attributes such as boldness, steadiness, righteousness, intolerance for injustice, generosity, love of humanity and empathy for other people’s suffering. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna explained the reason for his birth here on earth, “For the protection of the good and destruction of the bad.” Those who worship God should adhere to this ideal and act accordingly. All the money spent on the fruitless and mindless rituals is a total waste without one inculcating these virtues.

This life is but once. We have a choice of leading lives concerned only about our income, our children, our jobs, our house, our cars, and the like. As long as our needs are met, let the world be damned. We have a choice of being exceptional people or just princes of mediocrity.

Idiots at the Helm

With politicians and bureaucrats such as these, how can India progress?

Gadkari: “…take bribe if offered by someone and then decide how to vote."

Patil: "I asked as to what good act he has done? They told me that a rape case has been registered against him. If he wanted to contest and become an MLA, he should have committed rape after the elections."

55-year old Dalit: “The SDM asked me to do 100 sit-ups. I pleaded with him to give me some more time to complete the work but he threatened that he would send me to jail.”
